Hiya,
ReplyDeleteYou posted a query on another blog ( kitesurfers ) about the need for a generator. I bought a 2kw kipor a couple of years ago for my Euramobil 690. We wild camp pretty well most weekends as we kitesurf and stop at or near beaches where there are generally no facilities. We have only used the generator a couple of times when the hairdryer was desired ! Oh and a couple of nights when we partied with some mates and the dj needed to power up his decks set up in his vw. I would suggest you would be better off with a set of solar panels especially as you are intending to hit the sunnier climes of france, spain etc. Most of your electric will be running lights and water pumps and if you have a decent enough leisure battery setup then you should be fine. I thought I would need it more than I have, even when in the alps with heavy snow we have only used it briefly to charge up the batteries after a few days.
